Looking for a place to enjoy a game of tennis or tennis lessons in Singapore with your friends? We’ve got you covered! Here we have prepared an extensive list of tennis courts in Singapore.

Tennis Courts at ActiveSG

ActiveSG is a sporting platform initiated by Sport Singapore. While cheaper to book as Singaporeans or PRs, it is also available to everyone else at standard rates. Tennis lessons in Singapore are regularly hosted on these courts. Check below for the full list of tennis courts under them!

We know how annoying it is when tennis gets cancelled because of bad weather. Well, no need to worry if the courts are sheltered like the 6 tennis courts at Bedok Tennis Centre! Indoor tennis for kids also makes it easier on the parents who may have to otherwise deal with crankiness due to hot weather. Easy to access by bus and the MRT is just a few stops down or a 15 minute walk away.

Bedok Point and Bedok Mall are just a few minutes away on foot and lots of food choices can be found here, ideal for lunch or dinner after a game of tennis!

Burghley Tennis Centre

Set in the middle of a housing estate and offering 4 tennis courts, Burghley Tennis Centre is neighbourhood friendly and a great place to unwind and enjoy a game of tennis in a quiet and cosy environment. Private tennis lessons are popular here among the residents.

After cooling down, several eateries in the area await your patronage including Chomp Chomp food centre which is famous for being a dinner and supper hot spot!

CCAB (Co-Curricular Activities Branch), MOE (Evans) Tennis Centre

MOE (Evans) Tennis Centre offers 5 tennis courts and 1 tennis wall, floodlit for excellent visibility at night which makes it ideal to conduct tennis classes for adults who can only make it for evening classes. While parking spaces are limited, the facility is easily accessible through public transport and is with a bus stop 5 minutes’ walk away and MRT just slightly further down from the bus stop.

Just beside the facility is Singapore Botanic Gardens where you can literally stop and smell the flowers, as well as florist shops just opposite along Evans Road for those who want to smell the flowers at home. Further up from the florist shops there is a Mr Prata and slightly further there is Cluny Food Hall, great places to stop for a bite!

Choa Chu Kang Tennis Centre

Ideally located for the north western residents of Singapore, Choa Chu Kang Tennis Centre has 4 tennis courts and ample parking lots, making it a convenient location for neighbouring residents to have tennis lessons in Singapore. As for public transport, the nearest bus stop is only 5 minutes away and just a few stops down from the MRT station.

Afterwards, head on down to Lot One to refuel after burning those calories. Just don’t top up too much on the fuel!

Farrer Park Tennis Centre

Just a 10-minute walk away from the MRT, Farrer Park Tennis Centre has 8 tennis courts and 2 tennis walls, offering both playing spaces and a platform for practice on your own as well. This is a great place to learn tennis in Singapore!

Located nearby to several popular haunts like City Square Mall, Mustafa and Tekka Centre, this place offers lots of options for eating or shopping after tennis.

Jurong West Tennis Centre

Situated just 10 minutes away from Pioneer MRT and 5 minutes from the nearest bus stop on foot, Jurong West Tennis Centre is the ideal place for those who are staying in the western side of Singapore, or actually for anyone staying near any East West Line station! The facility offers 2 tennis courts and many lots for parking, and is also a great location to start beginner tennis lessons in the west.

Jurong Point shopping centre is only one MRT stop away or a 15 -minute walk from the facility. This is one of the bigger shopping malls in Singapore and houses many shopping and eating options!

Kallang Tennis Centre

Boasting a total of 14 tennis courts and 2 tennis walls, Kallang Tennis Centre is the biggest public tennis centre in Singapore and hosts most school and national tennis competitions. Here you will also often find several academies conducting tennis lessons for kids. Accessibility wise, parking at the facility itself is rather limited. However, it is highly accessible via public transport with nearby bus stops and an MRT just 10 mins away.

A number of facilities surround Kallang Tennis Centre such as Kallang Leisure Park, Kallang Wave Mall and the 24 hour Decathlon, a sporting goods store with a wide variety of clothes and equipment.

NUS University Sports Centre

Right in the heart of NUS (National University of Singapore) is their sports centre which houses a whopping 17 tennis courts and 1 tennis wall. Before you get too excited, note that only 5 tennis courts are available for public booking through ActiveSG. This place is great for having a private tennis lesson if you have never had a reason to enter NUS before!

If you are playing tennis here, take the chance to explore the oldest higher education institution in Singapore. There is even an NUS Campus Explorer Mobile Application that provides a campus tour route as well as relevant information for undergraduates. Needless to say, you can also find all kinds of food while touring the campus. (Don’t overeat though!)

Pasir Ris Tennis Centre

Pasir Ris Tennis Centre offers 2 tennis courts and is conveniently located in Pasir Ris Sport Centre, just across the road from Pasir Ris MRT. Parking is ample and even available at Pasir Ris Town Park beside the facility. A popular location for both kids tennis classes and tennis classes for adults.

Right beside the sports facilities is Pasir Ris Central Hawker Centre, which has garnered popularity for their affordable traditional and hipster fare. Popular hangout places like White Sands Mall and Downtown East are also just a short walk away!

Senja-Cashew Community Centre

Set in Bukit Panjang Town and with 2 tennis courts, Senja-Cashew Community Centre is a 5-minute walk from Bukit Panjang MRT and just a couple of minutes away from the nearest bus stop. If you stay in the area, this is a great place to start a group tennis lesson!

Nearby facilities include Bukit Panjang Plaza and Hillion Mall, both just 5 minutes away on foot. If you don’t mind a bit of travel and exploration, The Rail Mall is only a few bus stops or a short 5-minute drive away if you are one who enjoys taking scenic photography. While you’re there, you can stop in at Springleaf Prata, famous for their innovative prata creations!

St Wilfred Tennis Centre

Tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood, St Wilfred Tennis Centre is situated just a stone’s throw from Bendemeer Secondary School. Cosy yet spacious, this sports complex has 4 tennis courts and parking available all around the area. There is also a bus stop almost directly opposite the courts, although only one bus goes all the way in. Otherwise it is a 10-minute walk from Boon Keng MRT. For the neighbouring residents, this location is perfect for tennis lessons for children as the courts can be visible from their house window!

Coffee shops and other eateries adorn the area as well as convenience stores and neighbourhood hairdressers. This is a great place to sit around and kick back with friends!

Yio Chu Kang Tennis Centre

As the only tennis centre located directly behind a MRT station, Yio Chu Kang Tennis Centre is arguably the easiest to locate and most accessible tennis centre in Singapore! It is likely due to its convenience that this is yet another popular facility for kids tennis classes. Public transport aside, parking is also largely available and it is the second biggest tennis facility in Singapore with 9 tennis courts.

Although not many facilities surround this tennis centre, there is a Cheers right at Yio Chu Kang MRT where you could get some necessities and Nanyang Polytechnic is just a 10 minute walk away if you want to tuck into school food after a good workout!

Tennis Courts at Condominiums in Singapore

Across the many condos in Singapore, a large number of have in-built tennis courts which residents can book and bring guests to play with. From Eastvale and Costa Rhu in the east to The Quartz and Evergreen Park closer to central and Villa De West in, you guessed it, the west. Don’t be shy to ask your friends who stay in condos as these facilities are often free to book and it would be a waste to not put them to good use. Often, courts are not well maintained if the residents do not make use of them!

Tennis Courts at Family Clubs in Singapore

Singapore has many family clubs with tennis courts like Singapore Swimming Club, Orchid Country Club, NSRCC (National Service Resort & Country Club) and many more. Members can book the facilities at low rates and bring in guests to play. Some, like SICC (Singapore Island Country Club) even has indoor courts! You can consider getting a membership or ask around your tennis buddies if they have memberships at such places or know of anyone who does. There’s never anything to lose in just asking!

If you’re on holiday in Singapore then you’re likely to be staying in a hotel. If you love tennis, then why not stay at a hotel with the option to play? A number of hotels in Singapore such as Four Seasons Hotel, Mandarin Oriental and Grand Copthorne Waterfront offer tennis courts as part of the available facilities! In fact, some of these tennis courts are even available for public booking, although you may want to check the rates before making a confirmation. Even so, it’s something worth having a look at if you are someone who enjoys new experiences!

Tennis Courts at OnePA

OnePA is a one-stop platform that offers access to the People’s Association’s (PA)’s courses, activities, facilities, interest groups and memberships. Most community centre facilities can be booked through the OnePA portal!

Arena @ Our Tampines Hub (Indoor)

Another great place to have indoor tennis for kids, Arena @ Our Tampines is a family friendly location that is also among the most easily accessible tennis courts in Singapore. It has 4 indoor tennis courts and is only a 5-minute walk from Tampines MRT/Tampines Bus interchange.

Within this facility itself are several food options for your post workout meal. If none of them are to your taste, not to worry, there are three big malls to explore just a short walk away! Take your time to stroll around and enjoy the amenities at Tampines 1, Tampines Mall and Century Square as a part of your after tennis cooldown. Keep a lookout, these malls are popular locations for events!

Do you have friends who are studying in polytechnics or universities in Singapore? Remember that school facilities are options too when looking for a place to play tennis! ALL the polytechnics and universities in Singapore have tennis courts and while most cannot be booked by the public, students can book them for recreational use. Don’t rule out the possibilities!
